Quality of Education
To increase Good Level of Development to be at least in line with National.
To improve attainment in writing in EYFS
To improve attainment in phonics to be in line with National expectations at Y1.
To narrow the gap in school gender in both EYFS and KS1.
To continue make improvements in attainment in Writing.
Most SEND pupils make at least expected progress in Reading, Writing and Maths from their individual starting points.
To narrow the gap in attainment between PP and non PP in all subjects.
A sufficiently challenging Maths curriculum is embedded ensuring basic skills and mastery are secure.
Reading strategies are embedded in school practice to ensure strong readers
Behaviour and Attitudes
School attendance will continue to increase to 97% (National expectation)
Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare
There is a whole school ethos of employing a growth mindset approach to learning and lifeskills.
Pupils will be presented with a wealth of opportunities to develop in many diverse areas of life.
Leadership and Management
The Jackfield and Moorpark Local Governing Body holds the school to account and sets the strategic direction.
All subject leaders will design, implement and evaluate a curriculum which identifies the knowledge and skills that the pupils will gain by building on their previous knowledge, to show an impact on pupils’ outcomes and their personal, development, behaviour and welfare.
Leaders take reasonable steps to minimise workload for all staff.
Safeguarding procedures are rigorous and clearly under embedded at all levels
